Brittany Spears has been in the public eye for decades. She is a singer known around the world. When she did her first music video it was in a naughty schoolgirl outfit, and she was dancing around. The idea of her dressing like a naughty schoolgirl was hers. She came up with a lot of the ideas that made her a household name. She is 39 years old and has been married and divorced 2 times. One was an annulment so not technically a divorce. She has 2 kids by her second ex-husband.
There are many people out who are single moms and have a couple of kids. They come up with great ideas and ways to support their family. Many are single by choice, others are single due to no fault of their own. Then there are those that are single Mom’s due to their actions. No offense to any of them, I know plenty of single mothers that do an outstanding job of raising their kids and being a success.
If we have so many of these women who are doing a great job and making their own decisions. Why is Brittnay Spears being denied those rights supposedly? Would you like to know some jobs that single parents can do and make tremendous incomes and little education? Real Estate Agent, Bartender, Hair Stylist, Carpenter, Cleaning Service, Baker, Plumber, and even retail manager. A lot of careers that some people would not imagine doing, can be very lucrative. You know what, you do you. You work and live the life that you want while taking care of your family.
If we worried less about what others thought of our job, the more successful we would likely be in life. Dad and I like to go to a café in the Fort Worth StockYards. There are 3 regular waitresses. They are funny, friendly, down to earth, and hard workers. There have been nights when it is slow. They will talk and laugh like kids. They are on their feet all day from Wednesday through Sunday. They do it with a smile. They do it with kindness. They do it because it is their job.
Some people are lucky to discover great artistic talent and make a wonderful income from that talent. It could be writing, singing, painting, or acting. What some do not realize is, it takes practice to stay on top of your profession. You must continually work hard and reinvent yourself. Some change their style, type of song they sing, or the type of pictures that they paint. Others find new villains in their novels to keep the reader coming back again and again.
Earnest Hemmingway died and left around $1.4 million dollars to his wife. When Pablo Picasso died, he was worth $100 to $250 million dollars. Michael Jackson was worth about $250 million when he passed away. Martha Stewart did 5 years in federal prison. She is worth $400 million dollars today. These people loved their professions and rebuilt their empire after being knocked down.
None of these people had someone controlling them or directing them on how to live their life. We will let homeless people defecate on streets, protestors burn down buildings and people do not blink an eye. Yet, when a celebrity is not allowed as a grown adult to live their life as they see fit - everyone is all for control or lack thereof. People care about the well being of this poor celebrity.
All while a waitress in the stock yards, a real estate agent in a small town in West Texas, and a call center representative who are single parents trying to make it through life get nothing but more taxes, higher gas prices, and increased cost of living. This is not about wealth redistribution. This is about greed. People who can manipulate others, will always manipulate others. If they can make money off that person, they will take advantage of that person. We saw it with Elvis, Selena, and Whitney Houston. Politicians have been doing it for decades to line their own pockets. Their kids get appointed to the board of directors for companies they have no right to be on the board.
So, why does a celebrity with a long running Vegas show, millions of dollars, and 2 kids need a conservatorship? If this person was really that unstable, they would not be allowed to be around their kids, they would not be able to work, they would have to be under constant supervision. Maybe she is and we do not see all the details. At the end of the day, we all have a right to take care of our own lives. If we screw it up, that is on us. If we succeed, that is also on us. We should all have that chance to live our life. Free Brittany and let Brittany be Brittany.
“Don't you ever get the feeling that all your life is going by and you're not taking advantage of it? Do you realize you've lived nearly half the time you have to live already?” ― Ernest Hemingway
