     This is the time of year that everyone seems to filled with a lot of Passion about life.  Fall is always a great time of year with the weather changing and school getting back into full swing.  I think this is a great feeling.  When people are filled with passion it can lead to great ideas, actions and events.  There is a saying that says, "Go Big or Go Home."  That is to me the essence of passion.      Passion can come from many aspects of our life.  It can be from seeing your son play his first varsity football game, your daughter be the drum major for her school marching band, or from the start of the show season and all the fairs and county shows.  Any of these are excellent reasons to be full of passion.      I find that as I am always passionate for different aspects of my life, I don't always show that enthusiasm.  There are times when I am very lack luster and my passion does not shine ...

     In 1951 Kurt Vonnegut published a collection of short stories.  This story tells of an Army Colonel that crashes on the Asiatic Mainland.  He is basically forced to play a game of chess with real people.  He has to make decisions that will forever alter his live and those closest to him.  If you have not read this story, I highly recommend you read it and other by Vonnegut.  People should read and learn from others of all genres, eras, and countries.  It allows us to make better and more informed decisions.      Over the last 2 years a movement has risen from the ashes.  It is called Black Lives Matter.  I will use BLM as the abbreviation throughout this post and future posts.  This is a movement that at heart has some good intentions.  I honestly know and believe there are people out that that fear for their lives when dealing with our police community.  They either grew up with a bad experience...

     It has been a long time coming for this blog post. I know that I have not posted one in many months.  I have had people ask when the next one will turn up.  There have been many started that did not turn out the way I would have liked.  So they are still in draft mode.      2016 is turning out to be a historic year.  We have a presidential election like no other.  Events have happened in our country that changed the dynamic of our society and everyday life.  Even personally I am doing actions on a daily basis that I would have never dreamed of doing one year ago.  This post may be a little lengthy, I hope it is worth the read.      For the last year there have been two people dominate the news cycle and they continue to do so today.  Those two people are Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton.  The two nominees for the POTUS.  The first thing I will say is I don't give a rats ass if you lik...
