Wake Up America!!

     With everything that is happening in our country.  There are people that still believe it's a guns fault that people are dying.  These are also the same people that think if we legalize marijuana no harm will come to anyone. These are the people that believe that only adults that use the drug and my kids will be fine.  People believed that if alcohol was outlawed it would be best for the country a long time ago. 

     These are all examples of problems that can not be legislated.  These are problems that can only be educated.  Children that grow up on farms and ranches or with families that hunt are taught the proper ways to handle a gun.  These are also the families that teach their kids morals and to know whats right from wrong. 

     Kids do not go and kill other people for the 'fun of it'.  Kids do not go out and shoot people at the early hours of the morning. This is a parenting fail!  The parents of all these kids should stand trial as well.  There should also be outrage from all of the so called civil rights leaders.  The Jesse Jackson's, Al Sharpton's and even the POTUS should be screaming from the roof.  POTUS was quick to say that Trevon Martin would look like his son.  I guess he wants his son to do drugs and have a sketchy past.  The kids that killed in Oklahoma could all have been his son.  

     When will people stop blaming inanimate objects for the problems in this country.  It's time to start looking in the mirror.  Some people want to outlaw all guns and no one can have them at all.  Are you stupid?! You really think that will solve our problems? Australia's crime rate did not change when they did that, it changed to people killing with knives. 

     Lets start by teaching our kids respect, right from wrong, good versus evil. Lets not let our kids watch videos or listen to music that degrades anyone.  Lets tell people that treat others badly they are evil.  Here is an idea, lets have a 2 parent household or at least 1 parent that is active in their kids lives. There are plenty of single parents out there that work full time and know exactly where their kids are, what they are doing and who the are with at all times.  They have taught their kids what to do and right from wrong. 

     It is ridiculous that we have people being killed for the 'fun of it'.  This is not a case where someone was high and walking through a neighborhood. This is not a case where  person who died even had a chance. He was shot in the back while exercising and going home.  Everyone of every race and religion should be outraged.

     The bigger problem will be that the message will be lost. People will just focus on gun rights and not the real issues.  When will people start waking up to the fact that you have to face the real issues.  You have to look at the people as the problem, not the inanimate objects.  

I don't make jokes. I just watch the government and report the facts.

     I started this post the other day and it was titled something else and decided to change it since people never cease to amaze me. I know a lot of people. Clean your Windshield

It’s that time of year where people will have the “new year, new me” phrase going strong. For many that will last about 2-3 weeks.  For others they will last well into mid-year. I am of the philosophy that you should make changes immediately in life. If you need to start eating healthier then go to the cupboard and fridge and throw out all unhealthy food. If you are going to stop drinking, throw out all your booze. (Rest a sure this will not happen in my house.) If you are going to start working harder on your livestock, turn off your phones and get to the barn. If you are going to sit back and re-evaluate your life while planning for new adventures, sit down and make a list. Every one of these goals requires you to clean your windshield to see what is ahead of you.  As we go down the highway of life we have a big broad windshield in front of us. It is Just a Show

  In the beginning I was not a watcher or a fan. There was a lot of talk. Chatter online. Then I decided to tune and check out all the hype. There is cattle, ranching, horses, politics, drama, and suspense. This show was a creation from the mind of a very creative horse jockey. The story is well written, the acting is superb, and the raw attitude is what brings people back each week. This show hits an audience that is hungry for real talk, real action, and real results. The bad part is it is all fiction.  The show is full of wrong information. Actions that make no sense. Calves do not jump up and start running immediately after being born. Most cattle ranches don’t take their hands and shoot them off a cliff if their employment has ended. They don’t brand their workers for show of loyalty.
