For as long as I can remember, my family has never held back their feelings or what they thought about a topic or a person. There were a couple of schools of thoughts in my house. The first was walk softly, but carry a big stick. The other was there is a time and a place for everything. When it was time, the stick could come down heavy and those in the path would usually walk away not knowing what happened.
Telling a person in a polite manner that they are a complete idiot and have no clue what they are talking about can be an art form. I think my mother perfected that and hopefully passed that to me. My father on the other hand held his tongue until the time was needed and released a wrath of words that would leave you feeling smaller then an ant. My parents did not like to mince words and I do not either. For those that new my sister she was the exact same way and I thank the good lord everyday for that quality.
Now, what does this all mean to you or anyone? It means that the world was not build on being "PC". It was built on having just common respect for others and being able to tell them what you think when the time was right. I am not a very "PC" person, even though I had to play the part at a few of my jobs. I always still made it a point to tell anyone, how I felt. People have to be fearful for telling the real truth because of what reprisal might come from work, or what others think of them in certain circles.
In all the recent tragic and horrific events, many news organizations showed their true bias. The facts can not be disputed. Numerous news organizations and people made ridiculous statements about the Boston Bombing. It's all recorded and quit funny if were not for the fact that these are people that want to "change" our country.
Terrorists performed horrific acts. These terrorist, whether learning it from the internet or traveling overseas were performed by people from another country. They wanted to harm American Citizens with no regard for anyone. These are acts that have already been tied to Muslim Extremist through videos on the internet, and their computer dialog. These facts are already out there for the public to see. Will people open their eyes?
I have no problem with people making statements about events, or what they believe. That is a great part of what our country was founded on. The problem I have is when, anyone questions or points out the errors that were made or that something is not right, then all of the sudden it's racist, hate speech or unlawful. NO! It's is doing nothing more then calling a Spade a, a Spade.
People want to once again draw a line and put people on one side of the fence or the other on this topic. That is not how it works. The more we continue to force people to take sides on an issue. We will continue to loose that ability to judge right from wrong based on moral decisions. We will then turn to making decisions based solely on which side of the fence you are on and that is not the way this country was set up to work.
Our constitution is not a living and breathing document. Its a piece of thoughts, principals and beliefs that were set forth by our founding fathers. There has been amendments to the constitution that were good for the good of the country. One more that limits the terms of Congressman and Senators would be helpful! Jut my opinion.
We all should be able to call a Spade, a Spade. That is part of our rights as U.S. citizens and is afforded to us by the constitution. I do believe it should be done with respect, and not in a harmful or demeaning manor. If you do not like what someone is saying then maybe you should ask yourself does it really apply to me. Of course this would take some common sense which in an earlier blog we discussed many people are lacking!
Just some more ramblings from a guy in the country. God Bless!

I dealt with PC issues at work also. The problem with this is that the truth never comes out. Calling the murder of children a womans right to chose may be politically correct, but none the less, babies lives are ended, people have murdered them.
