ln Case you did not know.

     Below are a few items that I would like to make you aware of in case you did not know.  These are my opinions.  If you agree great. If you disagree, you are free to leave your comments.  Otherwise be for warned.

  • Hash Tags seem to be a fun way to communicate. I do use them at times.  However if are always using them in over 50% of your conversations, you are not have great conversations.  Which is sad, we all need to engage in intellectual conversation.  It helps broaden our minds.  
  • There is no war on women in the U.S.  It is all political.  Sandra Fluke is an idiot who wanted to be famous and now she is because of a mad up scandal.   I am not saying you don't have a choice.  What I am saying is that I do not have to pay for EVERY PIECE of birth control the medical community ever created.  You can handle having only 16 to choose from in life.  
  • There is a war going on in this country and in other countries.  We have thousands of illegal "children" trying to get into this country.  They are carrying diseases most are not young.  Most of these children are teenagers and up to almost 20 years old.  Send their asses back to where they came from and have a POTUS grow a set to take an actual stance on a topic.  
  • If you want to get high and do whatever drug comes your way, that is fine.  I love bourbon.  The difference is not that one is legal and the other is not. The difference is I still have to be sober to function at work and if I am not, I will lose my job.  Same thing should and will happen if pot is legalized.  However, when your teenagers are getting high in your house and the cops haul your asses to jail.  Please understand, you were for warned.  
  • So climatologist are 100% correct about global warming and that we are doing ourselves in as a nation and world.  Yet all data points to the weather being cyclical and there are not real changes in the temperature?  On the flip side, all fertility Dr.'s are wrong about those 4 little forms of birth control that stops a life.  Makes perfect sense.  
  • If you really want to know what D.C. does daily while the legislative branches are in session you can get that off the government website. All the voting records, and bills put before each floors are online. You can look up the numbers of bills passed by the House and those passed by the Senate.  Keep in mind, if your leader of either spend more than 2 minutes bloviating about a topic.  Than there is an issue with the leader.  
  • When the Attorney General of the U.S. is more concerned with racism in a parade float or the mask worn by a rodeo clown than actual criminals, there is a problem.  Eric Holder has an agenda too promote racism where it does not exist where he sees it.  He refuses to prosecute actual criminals. Not all bad things that happen are because of the color of your skin.  It is because of the choices you make in life. I am not saying racism does not exist.  I am saying that everything is not tied to it. 
  • I already pay everything and then some in taxes each year.  I get nothing back for refunds.  To everyone that gets 2 or 3 times more back in refunds than you paid in, you are welcome.  Please do more with that money than get a new purse, your nails done and new clothes.  Let's try saving a little money and putting something back for a rainy day.  
  • Take every issue that I have talked about and many others including Bengahzi, IRS, and the deserter Bergdahl.  Now apply a republican president and leaders in every aspect.  The response would be much different.  
  • If at any point you believe that Steven Jobs, Bill Gates, or Warren Buffet did not work hard to be successful you are wrong.  They all started from nothing and made something for themselves and their families.  This was all done thanks to a republic that promotes a Capitalistic society.  They are also men who understand values, morals and have a tremendous work ethic.  FYI Bill Gates will not give most of his wealth to his kids, neither will the singer Sting.  They both want their kids to understand what it's like to work for a living and make it on your own.  

     Not all of these are going to be okay with people, and I really don't care.  We have some serious problems in this country.  There are too many people who have their hand out and not enough putting their fair share into the system.  The top 1% still pay most of the taxes in this country.  Maybe it's not how much is being paid in, maybe it's how much is going out on the other end.  Also how is it all being used in the corrupt D.C. has a larger role in our countries success.

     I started this post the other day and it was titled something else and decided to change it since people never cease to amaze me. I know a lot of people. They either worked with me, were one of my employees when I managed people, or friends and family.  I like to follow a wide variety of people on my twitter account.  I think it's important to get a well rounded idea of what people think and believe.      There are some horrific tragedies that have occurred in our country.   They are tragedies that we have seen in the past and will continue to see in the future.  We as Americans come together and support each other, we provide support, food, money, and a prayer.  All are important to the process of rebuilding their lives that have been destroyed.      Theordore Rosevelt was fond of the West African Proverb "Speak softly and carry a big stick; you will go far." Clean your Windshield

It’s that time of year where people will have the “new year, new me” phrase going strong. For many that will last about 2-3 weeks.  For others they will last well into mid-year. I am of the philosophy that you should make changes immediately in life. If you need to start eating healthier then go to the cupboard and fridge and throw out all unhealthy food. If you are going to stop drinking, throw out all your booze. (Rest a sure this will not happen in my house.) If you are going to start working harder on your livestock, turn off your phones and get to the barn. If you are going to sit back and re-evaluate your life while planning for new adventures, sit down and make a list. Every one of these goals requires you to clean your windshield to see what is ahead of you.  As we go down the highway of life we have a big broad windshield in front of us. It is Just a Show

  In the beginning I was not a watcher or a fan. There was a lot of talk. Chatter online. Then I decided to tune and check out all the hype. There is cattle, ranching, horses, politics, drama, and suspense. This show was a creation from the mind of a very creative horse jockey. The story is well written, the acting is superb, and the raw attitude is what brings people back each week. This show hits an audience that is hungry for real talk, real action, and real results. The bad part is it is all fiction.  The show is full of wrong information. Actions that make no sense. Calves do not jump up and start running immediately after being born. Most cattle ranches don’t take their hands and shoot them off a cliff if their employment has ended. They don’t brand their workers for show of loyalty. The good news is it is all fiction.  The characters in the show are people you either love or hate. They are characters that bring a lot of talent to the show. These people come from ma...
